A new day, a new way to do the same bracelet?

After watching three instruction videos with new patterns, I found myself doing another bracelet with my favorite pattern. I keep changing it a little bit so here is what I learned today. 1. Listen to your own advice and measure once again I made the bracelet too big. 2. Sometimes there is a solution: I took the lobster claw off and added a button and a seed bead loop. That way it made it a size that would work. I still don't have the way to measure the loop right yet but I am getting closer. 3 Light is your best friend. I can't believe how much easier it is when you can see what you are doing. 4. At some point you need to think of what you are going to do with all these bracelets. I promise myself, I will try something completely different tomorrow. Off subject today is my son's birthday. They had plans, so I will see him tomorrow. Still seems like I am the one who should get to have fun since it was such a lack of fun giving birth. Last thought...when learning a new beading style use cheap thread that way you are not using your good beading thread on a project that is only practice. That advice might save you a dollar or two. Through a whole bunch of projects not each. :) Have a great day and feel free to comment. I know I am not there yet but so fun to learn.
